CDs On Your Desktop

Here's a clever hook into iTunes. Run Clutter and this metal window appears on the desktop. Play a tune in iTunes and that tune's cover art appears in the Clutter window. If there's no cover art on your system for that tune then Clutter fetches it from Amazon.

Now you can drag that art onto the desktop and have it "cluttered" with CDs. The Violin Concerto CD is a generic one, generated because there's no associated artwork.

Double click on an album and it plays, or right-click for a list of tracks...

The main Clutter window is also a mini remote for iTunes, and you can call up a mini browser of your music, so you can hide iTunes altogether. Clutter: a more visceral way to get to your music.
